Silicone is a high quality, high durability, heat resistant, easily cleanable, impact resistant, and highly flexible material.  It's really kind of magical if you think about it.  It has all the characteristics we needed for the SiliSink.

Yes!  The SiliSink itself is made of 100% silicone which is heat resistant up to 570 Degrees  Fahrenheit.  The Caddy is made of polycarbonate.  Both are dishwasher safe on the top rack.

We may produce a separate product with a smaller throat dimension specifically for farmhouse sinks, but that is not available yet.  Please follow us on Facebook for updates on future products!

Yes, though you may find that water pools along the back dam.  We hope to develop a version which is designed to drain over the lip of a drop-in sink, but that is not available yet.  Please follow us on Facebook for updates on future products!

Yes, but that's why we made it dishwasher safe!  Trying to make that connection waterproof would have resulted in a much more permanent product, and the SiliSink is designed to be removable so you can clean your countertop.

Sorry Mr. Wayne, at this time we are only producing the SiliSink in clear and grey silicones and the Caddy in smoky grey polycarbonate.  

However, that's just a starting point and we do plan to add more color options in the future.  Please send us an email and let us know what colors you'd like to see offered!

We are working with a factory in India to produce our products.  We have intentionally decided not to manufacture in China.

The reinforcing ribs provide additional strength and impact resistance so when you slap a frying pan up against the SiliSink, your stone doesn't feel a thing.

The additional holes allow you to put the Caddy on the right, left, or center depending on where you want it when you're washing dishes.  You can also purchase a second Caddy if you want two, and in the future there will be other accessories which can also hang from those slotted holes.

Oh so many!  For now we'll just tell you about the SiliSink related products:

• An XL version with five holes for bigger sinks
• Versions with holes on the outside
• A longer brush holder (for scrub brushes, paint brushes or whatever you like)
• Hooks to hang a dishrag on the inside or a towel on the outside
• A towel bar to span across the outside face (if you don't like hooks)
• A drop-in sink version
